Heritage Pointe
Heritage Pointe is a full service 27-hole golf facility
that offers three distinct 9-hole courses. This very popular course is
home to the Telus Open.
Priddis Greens
A family oriented club, Priddis Greens is a spectacular
course situated amongst rolling hills and woodlands. The club offers a
variety of practise facilities, lessons and leagues and 3 outdoor tennis
courts.
Cottonwood Golf and Country Club
Located beside the scenic Bow River, this magnificent
18-hole course is wonderfully landscaped and will challenge most any golfer.
Rivers Edge
An executive 9-hole course for the whole family.
This course is located 2 miles east of Okotoks, in a beautiful setting
along the Sheep River.
Turner Valley Golf Club
A very popular 18 hole full facility golf course
10 minutes west of Okotoks. This course is set in the foothills of the
Rocky Mountains.
Highwood Golf and Country Club
The Highwood Golf and Country Club is a 27-hole championship
course with a full service restaurant, pro shop and practise facility.
The Highwood consists of three different 9-hole courses that provide challenge
and enjoyment for all skill levels.

Skiing
Banff and Lake Louise
A variety of world-class ski resorts await enthusiasts
in the Canadian Rockies, just a short drive from Okotoks. Mt. Norquay,
Sunshine Village and Lake Louise offer over 200 ski runs in splendid Banff
National Park. Their spectacular alpine scenery, coupled with their modern
facilities, makes these ski destinations popular the world over.
Fernie Alpine Resort
Located in southeastern British Columbia (approximately
250 kilometres from Okotoks), Fernie is notorious for its excellent snow
and ski conditions. The resort receives an average of 875cm (29 feet)
of the white stuff annually and lift lines there are usually nonexistent.
Castle Mountain Resort
Castle Mountain Resort - a mere two-hour drive from
Okotoks - is situated just inside the continental divide in southwest
Alberta. The hill offers steep terrain that will test proficient skiers.
Locals refer to Castles' snow as "champagne powder" due to its low moisture
content. A hidden jewel, Castle Mountain Resort is usually uncrowded and
lift tickets are relatively inexpensive.

Hiking
Come and Explore
The Okotoks area offers hiking excursions for all
levels of hiking experience. You can take a leisurely stroll along the
Sheep River or a more challenging hike into the scenic Kananaskis Country.

Other
Calgary Polo Club
One of North America's finest Polo facilities with
seven full sized playing fields, stands for 1,000 spectators, and barns
that can accommodate up to 300 horses, is only minutes from Okotoks. The
Club plays host to Canada's top polo competitions, the North America Cup,
and the Canadian Open as well it holds one of North America's best tournaments
(the Kimo Cup) in August that attracts over 150 players.
